Long Time DSL customer. Not a heavy user.
DSL has always been reliable, but slower, but pretty expensive for the speed you get.
However, now that AT&T is moving to a new Caps and overages plan, and trying to wipe out up and coming companies like Netflix, I am done with them.
Metered billing on wired landlines is nothing more then a greedy cash grab and is designed to keep people on PayTV and away from third party services like Netflix, Hulu, GoogleTV, AppleTV, even Xbox Live or the PSN.
I seriously hope this business model does not take off, and I cannot stay with AT&T and help foster the mindset that the consumers will just take this shafting lying down. Bye AT&T. Hope you lose a ton of subscribers and have to drop this terrible idea.
