Ordered Elite Speed (6Mbs) in Apr. 09 with ATT local phone service. Installation took about 1 week. In May 09, switched to dry line DSL, service transition was seamless.
Pros: 1) Reliable connection for nearly 6 mos. There was one disconnect this month, that required a tech to visit while I was away. Problem seemed isolated, connection is still strong. 2) Good customer service. On calls regarding switch to dry line and recent service loss, customer service was very responsive. 3) Wifi is available for free using ATT account at Starbucks and some airports.
Cons: 1) Billing. Upon transition to dry line, billing was unable to issue a bill to my address. This seems to have rectified itself this month. Service was never effected. 2) DSL is no longer cutting edge. Uverse is not much better. FIOS is unavailable in Austin.
