    I been having this issue for months now but it use to do it at 8:30 to 9:30 p.m which i didn't use it at those times so it wasn't a big deal. Now that it disconnects earlier it really sucks because i can't use after work so it's like if i have no internet.

    When it disconnects it reconnects but then the speed is so slow like 14.4kb or below and then 5 minutes past the it disconnects and then it reconnects and then the same thing happens for about an hour. Sometime it disconnects and won't connect for about 30 minutes or so. ( I have the 768K speed and the Motorola modem 2210)

    The att people have been to my house for about 5 times now in the past year now and can't find anything wrong with my line. It's obviously on their end because when i first got it it would even get a green light on the modem. So I called them and the tech said that it was on their end because their wiring was so old and he fixed it. Then six months passed then it started doing the same thing disconnecting at certain times and then connecting at speeds slower than dial up.

    Now I don't even want to call them because i know what their going to tell me is that their going to send some and then he is going to say that he doesn't know whats wrong.

    Their going to check my line tomorrow.
    Update: well they came today to check my line and they said it was grounding issuses and they properly grounded the telephone box and he told me that was most likley the problem. Well it wasn't the problem and it still disconnects at those times. Plus there tech support line is the WORST, it feels like standing outside of the dmv.

    If anyone knows how to fix this situation then please reply.

    I'm getting this error on my router log: PPP: No response to 6 LCP echo requests.
    Don't know what that means but every time I get that the internet disconnects.

    When I was on dsl before going to uverse, the major problem I had when I needed a repair was getting past the contractors. The last problem that I had they sent five contractors out and finally two AT&T technicians before the problem was fixed. The contractors would turn the problem back to their supervisor who was an AT&T supervisor and then nothing would happen. Don't know if he sat on the problems or just totally ignored them. The second tech that they finally sent out worked in one of the old dsl crews and he knew what he was doing. The problem ended up being a card in the dslam. This all happened over a three month period before finally being repaired. My dsl was almost useless for a three month period. Trying to get past the script readers and contractors was incredibly frustrating. Hope you have better luck than I did!

    Well the tech came and he said that i had plenty of issues going on my line and he say that he fixed them but still there isn't no change the dsl still loses sync at those specific times. What is the card that you mentioned?
