AT&T DSL has been unreliable and inconsistent since it's installation and tech support has been 50%/50% typically I speak with support personnel that attempt to tell me that "External speed test sites are unreliable, and only the AT&T speed test give a true representation of the actual connection speed." My connection speeds vary from 6.0 Mbps (what I pay for) to 0.49 Mbps, lately this fluctuation is daily. The next street over has high speed by Charter Cable but unfortunately a line a mile long would have to be buried for our sub-division to have access to Charter Cable. At one time I was a loyal AT&T customer, now I am dissatisfied at best and would gratefully accept an alternative.
