I am a patient man however the nightmare I had to go through to get my dsl is
not to be repeated. After 5 months of waiting I finally got my dsl online. This
is because of the work I had to perform, not Flashcom or Northpoint. I called Flashcom, Northpoint, the President of Flashcom all to no avail. I spent more than 200
hours trying to get things moving. I missed four days of works. I had three no shows by
Bell Atlantic and the third party vendors for NOrthpoint had no idea what they
had to do once they came to my apartment. Three NOrthpoint techs came out to my house did nothing because the Flashcom or Northpoint had no idea that Bell Atlantic did not finish the job completely when they first came to my house five months ago. To
make a long story short, stay away from Flashcom. They have no idea what the
customers are going through. They have no accountability starting from the reps
to the managers. Emails go unanswered, calls take 15 minutes to get through.
Even though Flashcom offers the cheapest deal on dsl. LOok the other way, trust
me. Also my sure that the Bell Atlantic tech has completed the work properly and you are receiving dsl noise signal in the background. Make sure you are at home to supervise the installation because NOrthpoint or your ISP have no idea whether the installation was completed properly and it takes five months before you get another Bell Atlantic tech to come back. Very important!!!
