I have been a customer of HostDime for Over 10 years now, and up until recently I've been fairly satisfied with their service.

Recently however, we were one of many of Americans to get hit through a credit card breach, and had to get a new card. We had (1) invoice for $19.99 due on the 1st of the month (and we were still waiting on our new card). We were told we had 14 days from the first of the month to update our information to avoid any service disruption. Our card information was updated, and they shut us down anyway (for over half a day!). I have numerous business and nonprofit customers under my hosting that had their business disrupted by this. HostDime had techs in Tiers 1, 2, and all the way to the admins review the ticket on why we were down (without knowing it had anything to do with an accounting mishap). Had this issue been realized by HostDime themselves when the ticket was opened at 2:40 Cst then the issue would have been addressed right away.

Anyhow, after talking with their customer relations department, apparently our business is not worth evening crediting us $19.99 after being a loyal customer of over 10 years. They just don't care. Bad Customer Service!

I certainly understand if this was our fault (which it wasn't), since we updated our card info within the time frame they mentioned, and we were never informed of any service disconnection after our card information was updated, nor were we informed that we (the customer) had to manually process our own invoice (which was all automatic up until this point).

we had a ticket open at 2:40 PM CST until this morning that went from tier 1, to tier 2, and all the way up to the admins (without anyone noticing that there was a billing problem on their end). Had this issue been noticed it could have been addressed right away and our customers would have had little to no downtime.

**Note** This is only an option for 3 years when posting this, we've been a customer for 10+ and will now be taking our business elsewhere!
