I originally signed up for internet and VoIP after talking to their rep. Days later, they called and said I couldn't port my number like they originally said. So, I went with internet only. 512/128 for $27.00 No contract.
On the initial install, the tech didn't seem to sure of the quality readings but said it was still o.k. I took it as on the good side but probably on the low end of good. He left and I was able to surf. During the first couple of weeks I noticed it was not a constant 512. Usually 200k-1000k, so it looked like it was a burstable service. I could get more at times, but less most of the time. Some days after work/school, service would be crawling at dial up speeds. So I called in a trouble. They went through the usual, pointing to possible problems with my computer, firewall, AV, etc. I noted that it happened on more than one computer, so they blamed my router. We did this for about 3 months and then I decided to cancel and go to DSL. Never did they send out a tech to test their service at my premise. They did send out a tech to get their equipment once I canceled and he looked up at the antenna and said it looked like it had slipped in the clamps that hold it in place and wasn't properly aligned to face their tower. Wow! NO CRAP! Had they sent out a tech during the times I was reporting problems, this would have been noticed. He offered to fix but I went ahead and canceled.
