***Updated 04/14/08*** Not much has changed, I still have great reliable DSL service from AT&T.
***Updated 06/03/06*** My SBC (now AT&T) DSL has been solid for the last couple of years except for a couple of odd problems at the RT which were dealt with promptly by Beach Boy and the excellent staff from the SBC (now AT&T) Direct Forum. I've since upgraded to the 3mbps/384kbps plan and I love it.
***Updated 10/23/04*** I have had minimal problems with my DSL, I even got the upload speed upgrade a few weeks ago and now test at around 1275/318. The only major outage I've had was when the power went out in the area long enough for the RT batteries to give out. Once the power came back on, the RT had to be reset somehow and that took awhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service.
***Original Review*** I ordered 1500/128 and was scheduled for installation today. It was connected yesterday and the PPPoE setup was simple with my Speedstream 5100 and WRT54G router. I registered at »sbcreg.sbcglobal.net to avoid using the included install CD. So far, so good!
