    My Other Reviews·RoadRunner Cable
    11/24/2006:

Afternoon/Evening slow downs are now not uncommon. After about 10:00pm speeds pick back up for the most part. Speeds never really drop below 300-400kbs so can't really bitch that much, but it does slow down. Most all other times works exactly as advertised.

Still crusin' right along. No problems what-so-ever

    ----------------------------------

I haven't had it hooked up long enough to tell about reliability but if this connection is anything like my old DTV DSL connection I have nothing to worry about. In other words it should be rock solid. And now I have this insane speed. I ordered this service last Friday night, it's Wednsday night and i'm already online and smokin' at 6000/600. SBC should write a book on how to provision a line. And all other telcos should take a hint from the way they let their techs participate in the forums on this awesome website.

I'm not going crazy with the "Connection Reliability" rating yet but if things keep up I'll be back in a couple weeks to set things straight. Past experiance tells me that the first few days/weeks are the real proving ground on how well DSL is going to work at your particular residence.

Oh and "Getright" is a must for a connection like this, nothing like pulling a file from 6-7 locations at 600+KB/s

Thanks for reading and I'll see you all around.
