I've had this service since 2001 and have not yet experienced any serious issues, very rarely the mail servers have failed to respond, but only for brief (1~4 mins.) periods of time.
----------------------------------------------- Updated Review ------------------------------------------------
This is still a solid ISP. When I accepted the offer to switch to it from my original SP (the ISP term was not yet used at that time) the once mighty Prodigy, which I had joined in January of 1993, and which was acquired by SBC Yahoo in the late nineties, I made a great decision. A retrospectful analysis of the improvements that have been added to the service, mainly its contents and included premium services, indicates that it's well worth the price, however, a more appropriate fee structure as compared to its competitors, would make it more competitive.
UPDATE: As of January 1st, 2009, this service has remained almost similar to my previous review, the price was increased by $1.00 per month in my case because of the grandfathered terms that I accepted when AT&T acquired the Prodigy service, whereas other members saw their increase in the neighborhood of $6.00 to $8.00 per month, the sporadic mail servers glitches are still there, but they are not frequent.
