(Update - 06/01/2007) Sweet! AT&T just sent me a 75$ gift card! I love the new at&t!!!!!
Promotional pricing came up to be about this: [($24.99x10 months)-($75 Visa Gift Card)]/12 months = $14.58/month [($24.99x10)-($75)-($11 modem profit from eBay)]/12 months = $13.65/mo

(Update - 05/22/2008) Contract expired and I called AT&T to cancel. Retention gives me the following options: 1) Cancel and renew 3.0/512 at $30/month + $50 cash back + $ Make a profit on the modem again. 2) Continue 3.0/512 at $25/month (Normal price: $30). 3) Upgrade to 6.0/768 at $30/month (Normal price: $35).
I chose #3. Didn't feel like selling the modem again on eBay and wasn't going to save that much anyways. Figured the 6/768 plan was worth it. Order is supposed to complete by tomorrow, Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Oh, and retention department also made it a no commitment plan; that is, I can downgrade at any time but if I chose to keep the plan, I'm locked in at the price for one full year.
