now that they've upped the price fom $15 to $20, they call every day and a half asking if you want; faster speeds, new calling features, wireless or satelite, every day and a half!
Edit: A month after they upped the prices for my basic plan, they call and I ask about the "new" $14.99 plan and if I could be switched to that one. "I'm sorry, that is not my department." They have not called since. So what does this tell you? They want stupid, uninformed customers, that they can price gouge.
2nd Edit: On 1/21/09 I was, against my better judgement, helping a friend get dsl from att and discovered that the plan they advertise is not the plan that they offer. On the main dsl page showing the speeds, plans , and prices, they show the $14.99 plan. You click on it and after they confirm availability of the service, you have the choice of two plans, neither of which is the plan you clicked on. So what does this tell you? They want stupid, uninformed customers, that they can price gouge.
