Considered Charter cable for broadband alternative, but theirs is only a decent price for 3 months and then its jacked up to $20 higher. Also cable has much lower upstream (but higher downstream)
Move process was easy but the downstream doesn't work properly in my new location. Still trying to find out why. Previous moves also had problems with either DSL cutting out after several days after moving and it working initially, or horrible consistent desynchronization problems with the modem and DSLAM.

stay away from the 2wire wireless gateway/modem, it tends to lock up and disconnect the modem if you have too many connections or certain ports are hit too often (bit torrent, which is included in some games like WoW now)
