at the time ordered, this was the only broadband option as comcast wasn't set up for broadband yet. (2003 i think? 2004?) since then, comcast has rolled out and seems reliable in the area, may consider switching. I was stuck at the 384/384 "grandfather" tier (that's what I heard it called here) until I talked to someone from at&t in the forums. now i'm at the 1.5/384 tier. unfortunately, if I were a few feet farther away, I'd be out of luck. but for what it is, Its only been out 3 times that I know of since I've had it, twice for more than 24 hours, and one time had DNS troubles where only a few sites were available. other than that, If you are looking for a reliable connection, I think this is the best way to go.
