    I had Cox cable and for nearly the same price cable gave me more than twice the speeds, up AND down.
    With AT&T I'm getting around 5mbps down 500kbps up.
    Set up was not exactly easy. AT&T makes you jump through a few hoops. I had to call customer support for help.
    Just wish competition was better around here. ISP choices is very, very limited.
    AT&T is a monopoly..........again.
