"connection down from time to time, worst ever tech support"
"no choice but not that bad anyway"

Value for money:

If the connection is up, its smooth and all is fine. If it's down it really is down, tech will not inform you and most likely have no idea what is wrong anyway. the call center staff is entirely computer illeterate.

tm is now the biggest throttler in malaysia, blocking all UDP connections, throttling all P2P applications to zero. avoid this ISP if you want to engage in P2P unless you are prepared to add a VPN - then all will run without problems.

Bills come regularly and prices are very decent - for ca. 25 US you get 1024/384 advertised speed. they actually provide 1536/512. especially the uplink is extremely good.
tip: keep a backup provider - when they are off, you are out

overall: TM is for many areas the only option, so go for it and adjust according to your requirements. also due to the political situation in malaysia it migth be advisable to use a VPN if you want to participate in controversial issues (such as goverment related issues) to protect your identity.
