    ***Update 11-07-06

Things were good but quality just wasn't cutting it. Called tech support and a couple times it helped and others they couldn't figure it out. I ended up switching to Comcast's CDV service. People have noticed a huge difference in quality and I like the fact it doesn't share the bandwidth helps also.

    ***Update 6-15-06

Things are still going good. Vonage has added more countries to call for free. I am debating on moving to comcast digital voice though. Mainly because I have a plain old POTS line along with vonage just in case of emergency but not a 100% sure yet. Vonage has been good but some new features would be nice. If I did go with comcast it would the same price as SBC and Vonage. Like I said haven't decided yet.

    ***Update 3-6-06

Well it's been over 13 months (sorry for not updating sooner). Haven't really had any major issues. My voicemail indicator wouldn't shut off a few months back. A email to vonage and some testing fixed it. They had to flash my PAP2 device and that fixed it for a bit till they found the bug in the system.

Otherwise things have been great. You get a occasional bad connection either dialing out or incoming but nothing major.

Still no word on when caller id w/name outbound will be coming. Overall I am pretty happy with vonage but I won't call in for support still to long of hold times IMO.

    ***Originial Review
I have had Vonage up for about 2 weeks now and 600+ worth of minutes useed. So far no complaints at all..call quaility is great and I love the email notification of vmails.

I went and bought the Linksys PAP2 adapter at bestbuy for $59.99 and I get $60 back in rebates. Plus since I bought it at a store no activation fee.

Features seem to be working only really tested out vmail, 3 way calling and call waiting. I haven't tested the NAN - Network Availability Number...which is when your internet connection goes down or Vonage it should ring to the phone # you have designated in the dashboard.

Below is the break down on the pricing for the Unlimited plan.

    Residential Premium Unlimited Plan $24.99
    FET Tax $0.75
    Regulatory Recovery Fee $1.50
    Total Amount $27.24

I will update the review in a couple of months.
