Update 2/27/08:
Recently we've experienced a few hiccups in the service where the phone won't ring and calls are instantly diverted to the backup number, plus we try to make outgoing calls and nothing works. We've also had a weird one where the phone will ring and ring and ring, all one looooong tone as though someone called and the ringer got stuck.
Not sure if this means there are operational woes for Vonage as a cause of their financial ones. Still a good service though but getting a little spotty.

I've had Vonage since January 2005 and am very happy with them. I use both a home line and now a second line for work calls. Both are great, one adaptor which makes life a little easier on the wiring and of course I love that European calling is included.
I guess we'll have to see what happens with the latest news but since they've been good and my service continues to work as well as I can expect a voip service to work i'll be sticking with them until i can't anymore.
I've used a lot of Voip providers (well maybe 4, so not sure if that's really a lot) and of them all the reliability and the voice quality is definitely the best.
