    I purchased a Vtech IP Phone for Vonage off of Ebay. I got the Phone and connected it to my router. To my shock I need to enable DHCP on my router. There was no way to assign a static ip to it. Once I opened up a cluster of IP's the Vtech base was able to connect to vonage with no issues.

    I talked with tech support via email on various subjects, and they seem to be canned emails responces. From what I heard I hope I never need there tech support.

    Just set a static IP in the configuration page

    Just login to the Vtech configuration page to set a static IP address. By default, the connection type for WAN is set to DHCP.

    The IP address of the device is 192.168.15.1 and the username / password is vtech.
