    Ordered service on 10/5/2008, received adapter on 10/7/2008. They upgraded the free Motorola VT2142RB to a Vonage V-Portal at no additional cost. The installation was easy and painless.

    I chose to connect the adapter after my router which was no problem. No additional steps required doing it this way.

    I am receiving the first month free.
    Start-up cost was $10.55 which included shipping, taxes & FUS fees.

    My normal monthly bill will be: $24.95

    The added voicmail options are cool:
    Distinctive tone on phone to notify there are voicmails
    Access via PC played on media player of your choice
    Email alerts to notify new voicemails
