Still happy two years later, still an echo problem from time to time, but has been an outstanding service for us. Still gets one heck of a cross country workout in my household with us in AZ and family in Maine.

My VOIP had a good work-out recently, in-laws from Maine were with us for nearly 6 months. We received/called numerous long distance calls during that time frame Maine and Florida. Not one single issue. I live in AZ so have a good ping to Packet 8's servers which seem to be in San Jose.
My wife talks to her sister in Maine at least 3 to 4 times a week for hours at a time, no issues. Wife reports slight echo, but also say line quality is much better then our pots line (which I disconnected).
I went with the Uniden Whole House System and couldn't be happier. Found a package deal at Wal-mart for 3 cordless Uniden phones for $98 and was able to register them with my Uniden Base Unit. Works perfect.
My DSl and Packet 8 has been flawless I've forgotten I'm using relatively new technology. Been plug n' play for me.
I was able to order the whole system off of their website. Gave it an average rating as I've seen better but it still works fine. Never used their Tech support so gave it an average rating as well.
