Just wanted to let you know that I am one of those field techs that you
have told everyone in the DSLReports forum not to listen to.
My friend, why would you say such things. It is hard enough to work on
some of these "System Engineers" lines when they are constantly
questioning your knowledge. Granted, I may not know as much about
computers as you, but, if you just knew how many people I have bailed
out of their little self caused problems with their computers then maybe
you would come to appreciate some of us. Not to mention the numbers of
customers that I have given my pager number to so they would have
personal service if they had anymore problems. Would you even think of
doing this to any of those customers you speak to over the phone? The
field techs are in a constant battle to win over the Customers
confidence and loyalty to the Company when they may have been
unsatisfied by some other part of the Company. We are the Ambassadors of
the Company. I just really don't appreciate hearing an associate bashing
us in front of the public. You should be ashamed. Hopefully you get one
of us great guys when you get Adsl and have network problems in the
field, in that old part of town where the Phone lines are deteriorating
to begin with. I hope you treat him with the respect he deserves knowing
the long hours he puts in to make sure you have the luxury of being able
to have fast internet.
