The process of getting DSL service was well worth the time and trouble. BTI was able to quickly identify that they would be able to provide IDSL service to my house and the process was painless. No delays were encountered other than the scheduling delays caused by myself in being available to meet the BTI technicians at the house. The BTI technicians were on-site on-time and even a few minutes early in every time. We did have to make more than one visit. The first time the service would not turn up, they could not establish continuity back to the home office. A trouble report was generated to BellSouth. BellSouth, after a few days, reported no trouble found. We rescheduled with BTI, and guess what, it worked the first time. So much for no trouble found. The BTI tech and the home office support to get my PC properly configured was terrific, I was up and running quickly. Worked so well, that I took the next step and added an additional ISDN line and using a BTI provided router I am now operating a very close to 288Kbps consistently. I don't know how I survived using dial-up modem speeds previously, not to mention the hassle of dialing. DSL is great and BTI made it work with little effort on my part. Mel Patterson (919)861-4532
