I purchased GCI as a package deal, which includes digital television, Internet, and telephone. I had my doubts about voip at first, but overall my telephone service has been comparable to anything I had in the past. The cable Internet is five megs down and the television, well, it's cable. That's not to say that it's bad, there just aren't many channels I used to watch on DirecTV available in Anchorage.
Still, GCI has given me exacting customer service, reliable Internet and telephone, and decent television for a reasonable price. The best part is there are no annoying contracts to endure and customer service is 24 hours a day, seven days a week if I ever need anything.
