    My Other Reviews·Verizon FIOS
    I took the 2/10 FIOS for $30 + tax for 1 year then $35 + tax after that. I got $5 off the first year because I was a DSL customer. They also waived the $20 installation charge. I ordered by phone not online because the cancelling of my DSL was not obvious on the web site and I did not want to end up with FIOS and DSL. Cust service was first class. They called me to let me know the drop was being installed and asked if I wanted it anywhere other than by the existing phone lines. The installer called the day before to let me know he was coming, and he called again the morning of the install to say he was on his way. The installer even ran a speed check to see that I got decent speeds. After the install VZ called to make sure I was happy with everything. VZ also called after 3 days with a phone questionaire to make sure I was still happy.

    I have since added 3 VOIP lines.

    FYI to anyone who reads this, VZ does not rip out copper POTS lines that do not belong to them. They left my ATT POTS as copper although I have since switched to VOIP. I read a lot of posts claiming VZ rips out all copper.
