On a technical side, Primus TBB is an excellent service. It just works and many functions included for free (no fees for things like caller id display, call forwards, voicemail like at bell).

But... hope you will not need to call 611. First, you will wait for at least 45 minutes before to be online with a technician. Second, you will receive averages answers. If you have a non-standard problem, many months can pass before Primus fix it (example : my 911 service is reduced to basic since September because I moved... they say my number/address cannot support E911, but Bell and my city say this is not true...)

EDIT March 2008: Tech support is better when you call directly a level 2 technician

    Worst Service EVER

I ordered this service last month and after spending hours on hold (call their phone number THEY DON'T HAVE AN OPTION for VOIP for customer service or technical support), having to hassle with tech support, etc....telling me that my equipment is bad or whatever (I KNOW MY EQUIPMENT WORKS, I have my BS in Information Technology and I have been working for companies such as Dell, Gateway, AOL, etc). Finally I got a level 2 tech on the phone by waiting for the phone to ring WHICH NEVER DID so I called back on a day I should have been working. I was told that my account should have been setup properly but wasn't and they didn't have an idea when it would be. I was then told that I wouldn't be issued a refund. I had to fight for that and it has been three weeks since the day they told me I would recieve my refund in the mail but I STILL DON'T HAVE IT. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!

    Contacting level 2 technician

Level one will suck the life out of you before they help you solve a problem. I have learned to live with or work around problems.
How does one contact level 2 directly?

    Re: Contacting level 2 technician

A level 2 tech left a message on my voicemail after I called several time to tech support for a dtmf issue. After some tests that all failed I called him again and he replaced for free my linksys ata by a dlink one (even if I purshased the ata). Since that, I didn't had any problem with my primus line.
