    After going to ATT for DSL after the contracted price was up we went back to TWC and recieved Triple Play for much less than what it was to start off with. Great service since they started using the MOT modems.

    Update 10/6/05::

    Decided to give up on RR/TWC for reasons out of my control. Signed back up with SBC for DSL Pro and for All Distance Connections.

    After a few months of service and especially as of late the service from TWC has been getting spotty when working--some times it works---sometimes it don't. It just drops connection to the headend when it feels like it. especially during a rain storm. Than you have to manually reset the modem before it comes on. TWC says that there is nothing wrong but I now better especially when I can see it go off.

    But trying to disconnect the service is a pain! Almost 1 full week of it being in disconnect and still on! They claim its always gonna take a few days more when I've called in about it and get the same old story. When the modem finally goes back they can disconnect the Digi Phone and RR then for sure!

    Update 7/8/05--

    I called the County Sheriff's office to have them check my 911. Everything is working as it should be. Although i had to give the person my phone number and asked if they could provide me the name and address and where my emergency services are provided from. They gave me everything the way it should be. Glad I have E-911 still.

    Also one thing I forgot to add about the Install. When we ordered a new number from TWC we were given a cellular number from Nextel other people I know getting new numbers from TWC are getting numbers from the CLECs of Level3 and KMC.

    Called TWC about a week ago and ordered the service, and requested a new phone number. The CSR told me it would take ONE week for service to be installed. Wasn't bad waiting. had the landline from MCI to use while waiting and a cell phone.

    Contractors called and asked for directions to where we live. I have them the directions and they came and started to set up the phone service. But unlike most contractors of TWC here they really didn't know too much about where any of their equipment is located or what to do for services. I showed them everything and then when it came to hooking up the MTA to the phone line they went out side and access the apartment building's NID and was getting ready to cut phone lines to our apartment. I found out and went and showed them how things worked and told the techs not to disconnect anything in the building's NID. since we had 2 lines installed when we moved in we have our own separate NID to use. they did what they had to in there. Come to find out since my computer and the phone jack aren't near one another they couldnt use the phone line install after all but I signed off on the work order to do it myself since the contractor wasn't allowed to do it. They're unable to run wires across walkways or any of such. Running a new cable line in was not an option either since owners won't allow the line to run outside on the building.

    Great services, 611 works for CSRs, great quality of service. Was offered the Tripple Play price without Digital Cable. No contract nor no promotion.

    Classic Cable (2-77 ($45.05)), RoadRunner ($34.99 per month promotion for 12months), and Digital Phone: $119.99 per month.

    The only down side. They don't support Fax

    I haven't tested E-911 yet as not really sure how to go about doing it.
