Ordered Sunrocket online on Saturday May 21st. Picked my numbers and got an email on Sunday logged into my account and setup voicmail. Recived the Gizmo on Wednesday took about 5 min. to get it up and running. Outgoing and incoming worked right away. Had Sunrocket port my numer from ATT took about 18 days. Had them remove the temporary home number and was good to go. The service so far has been great voice quality but with 1 or two short outages. The signature number is great, I got an anywhere number in MD so my sister-inlaw can call with no charge. The free phones work great too. All in all a good experience for my first try at VOIP.
Update 09/08/2005 A week of constant outages what a joke. Better fix it soon or no one will be left on sunrocket.
Update 12/14/2005 My connection has been stable since the September Outage. Smooth sailing lately. Hope it continues.
Update 07/04/2007 On June 25th I received an Email from Member services saying at my request my account had been canceled this was news to me. I then received 3 more Emails that said the same all 4 had numbers that were not mine but when I checked my account was deleted, no website access no phone. Called Sunracket on my cell and CS had no idea why my account was canceled. Ticket was opened and in 2 hours account was reinstated. Had to set up voice mail again for both of my numbers a real pain. Tuesday July 3rd receive 4 Emails that my account has been canceled all with phone numbers not mine. Sure enough no phone no web site access when I got home called CS at around 4:00 again no idea what is going on ticket issued. I call back at 6pm and am told by CS and then supervisor that this can take 24 to 48 hours to correct. July 4 I receive an Email that they need me to call CS to solve the problem (still no mention of what the Problem is), I call and the young lady says she has no idea why I got the Email and says there is nothing in the computer about my calling on the 3rd. I tell her that they can call me on my cell if she finds out who I have to talk to, but they have until 2:00 PM (it is 11:00 AM when I called) if my service is not restored or I don't get a call by then they can keep the account canceled because I will be unpluging the Gizmo and tossing it in the trash. 2:00 came and went and no call and no phone. Gizmo is in the trash and I am now a Optimum Voice customer, awaiting my equipment. Had SunRacket for two years with little trouble till now. Avoid them at all costs they are complete incompetents, won't be long until they go under, don't get stuck holding the bag get out while you can.
