    My Other Reviews·VoiceStick
I ordered Sunrocket as a backup line 6 months back to avoid exceeding my cell phone minutes on long distance calls. It has more than served my original purpose and i am happy with the service. I have also recommended to a few friends and they are happy with it too.

I was able to order it easily from their website for $199/year; the website interface is simple and easy to use. I was able to choose a easy of remember telephone number. the gizmo arrived in 5 days and setup took less than 10 minutes. I was able to make and receive calls immediately.

I had gizmo initially setup behind my router, but have moved it to before the router since i use it to DRL (voice QOS) and can restart the gizmo from office (if needed) using WAN side interface.

Initially i had voice quality issues but getting help from members on this forum was able to figure they were my ISP related. A service call to Comcast had them fixed and the call quality improved greatly. However i continued to have small issues and opened up ticket with Sunrocket who overnighted (only after escalation to level 3) a new gizmo AC211N, which has been working great.

My experience with tech support has been mixed, the overseas tech support weren't of much help but they were helpful, ever since the tech support has moved back the support people seem to be more manageable but aren't helpful (On a recent ticket to switch plans i had to wait for a month, saying they can do it only on next billing cycle even when i had called at 7:00 am the day of billing cycle). But no complaints on that.

In short it has more than served my purpose of using it as a backup for my cell phone (and i am using it much more than that) and i would recommend it to anyone who knows what a VOIP is and has realistic expectations from the service.
