Like many reviews I have read where people looked to Direct TV and their partner (Excede or Viaset or Wild Blue which are all the same company) were lead to believe that they would provide internet service that would allow one to rent movies etc. only to find out that the plan they sold you was a "bate and switch" scheme. The user would not have a plan that was sufficient causing you to either switch to a more costly plan, not have service the rest of the month, or cancel the contract faced with $300 + fees for doing so. Wild Blue or whatever name they go by also had hidden fees such as when
the technician showed up you would be faced with a $75 fee for a pole.You were not advised that you could get a second opinion. Please check the reviews on Wild Blue > "www.dslreports.com/comments/2554. One note to the Direct TV relationship that once they had you sign on they would pass you on to Wild Blue with no support in dealing with them. Second comment concerning Direct TV add concerning free relocation of their TV services cost $99. Direct TV concern for their customers could be said as questionable. Direct TV was not aware of all the issues reported in the reviews about Wild Blue.
