3 days from Order to up and running. They made a mistake with the number they gave to me, a quick 10 minute call (if you have ever called Vonage tech support, you know that a quick call is 1 hour!!!) and I had a new number! A couple of other questions I had were answered and everything is going great. I am now porting my number over and canceling Vonage. Don't get me wrong, Vonage is great, but this is a $$$ decision as well as features. The custom Called ID is great, as now I do not pick up the phone for my wife's friends calling on their cells!!!! Having access to the head of the company on the forums shows that they want to put out a top product! I am very happy and will update this post in a few weeks....

I am still very happy. Just extended for another year, after referring my brother and getting a discount mixed with a promotion, my monthly cost (with the E911 fees and such) = 10.25 a month. GREAT!!!! I do not miss Vonage at all. I recommend Viatalk to anyone considering a change.

I know there have been many people having problems. I still love Viatalk. I recently had a problem, opened a ticket and did some troubleshooting. After a phone call to support (same day as ticket opened) I had a new router in the mail to me. Arrived 2 days later and phone was back up. For the price (even the bogus fees) you can not find a better solution in my opinion.
