Now that I have had Viatalk for almost a year I feel I can review it fairly. Overall, VT is good value for the money. Just like any other VOIP provider they have had their share of issues though.

At times I have had issues where the phone will not ringback on my end, but it will ring on the other end, and the person will answer. Adjusting my ringback settings seems to have helped to a point with this. Sometimes I have delays in calls going out, even when dialing 11 digits Other than these two issues VT has been a reliable service.

In the year I have been with VT they have added alot of new features, and all have proved to be useful. Although sometimes they have rushed these features out, they usually get the bugs out of the new features fairly quickly.

I really the the ability to have my cell phone right, along with my VT line, its a great feature to never miss a call. Although the website is a little clunky they are working on a new cleaner interface. The cost is almost unbeatable, when i singed up last year it was $199 for 12 months, plus 3 months free, plus a free 1-800 number, I believe now they are offering $229 for 1 year, plus one year free. Generally if you add another year to your contract before the term is up, you can usually get somekind of discounted rate.

A major plus, is the US based customer service/tech support. The person you are speaking to is here in the US and there no issues with language barriers to overcome.

I am planning on renewing myself for another year with VT, and look forward to the service only getting better
