Was looking to replace Packet8 after my annual commitment ran out. Found Viatalk thru DSLreports.com site. I likes the annual agreement with free 2nd year, and liked the idea of a BYOD arrangement. The adapter from Viatalk is "free" but you get the shipping and activation fees waived with BYOD. Ordered on line, very easy.
It took me a couple of days of fiddling around with it to get my adapter settings tweaked, but I had to unlock an old sunrocket adapter and then get all the settings entered in correctly. Not bad considering it was my first time working with SIP settings. (Of course I got some help from the boards here.)
Conclusion, so far so good!
