    My Other Reviews·WTC Communications
    I was with www.wtccommunications.ca
    see review (»/comment/59665)
they dropped packets, overcharged and don't really care about their customers.
So I was on the hunt for a new ISP, though my options seemed pretty limited in
Kingston. Someone told me about TekSavvy, after reading their reviews here, I was pretty much sold.

I called and ordered the unlimited package over cogent for $29.99/m with a
speedtouch 516 and 1 line filter.

After this I faced a couple of issues.
    1. There was some miscommunication or misinformation regarding when billing started. I incurred an NSF charge at my bank. Thankfully the people at TekSavvy, specifically R0cky, deducted the amount from my bill. This is OUTSTANDING customer support!

    2. They forgot to bill me! lol opposite problem this time. This meant that my modem wasn't shipped on time and my account wasn't activated for the 27th of Feb like it was supposed to be. Thankfully the techs resolved this and shipped out my modem immediately, I received it on March 1st and my account was also active.

If it had have been any other ISP, I would have given up after the first issue.
As you can see, my review is an overwhelming 5/5. This is due to TekSavvy's tech support really shining, thus negating any of the issues.

It was a bumpy road, however, I saw decent ping and speed improvements with my Speedtouch 516 right out of the box. No more dropped packets either, I can download
while torrenting, I can find as many servers as I want with Qtracker, ASE or XFire.
You're not going to find a better ISP!
