I've been with Teksavvy now for a little over a year. Unfortunately, it didn't start off so great, but that's thanks to our good friends at Bell Canada, who apparently don't understand what the words schedule, appointment and commitment mean... but I digress.
I have the 6mbit non-pppoe (commonly known as HSA too) ADSL, with a 100 gig cap and a small (/28) subnet that gets routed through my additional static IP. While I don't have an email address, or any of that webspace on their server, without any fuss, I was able to have the PTR delegated to me for my /28, and I was able to put up my mail server without any issues. One of their tech guys, Steve, even gave me his personal number one night while finalizing the setup to make sure everything was OK, and was great. He also helped verify that the mailserver was soundly setup, which was in both our best interests. The total cost is about 110$, It's preauth on my visa and I can't remember exactly, but it's very good value for what I'm getting.
Once up and running, everything has run tremendously well overall. In the last year or so, I ran into very few problems, none of which ever rendered my connection unusable, except for one 1-hour span, not counting any disconnections in the middle of the night for maintenance - this is normal across all ISPs. I actually worry about those who don't schedule regular maintenance in that 2-6AM window.
As an example of their commitment to customer satisfaction, I once had a small problem with very intermittent "lag bursts" where my pings would creep up a little, and I saw a small amount of dropped packets. Their team was very open to my concern, and although it didn't really impact my ability to use the service (it made ssh sessions to my machines annoying from outside the teksavvy network) they were prompt about looking into it and finding a solution.
Their presence on the DSLR forums, together with the ease with which they can be reached when phoning is invaluable in my experience. In today's business markets, the key is differentiation. Nowhere is it more true than in the ISP business, where you have competitors who offer the same basic service. Teksavvy differentiates itself with a wide product offering, and exceptional communication.
