Past 2 months ago, I live at the borderline connection. So it was a very weak connection and having a lot of noises. I couldn't get over 1000Kbps profile. They told me they lowered best possible to keep my line stable.
Now, I moved to a new house which is close to Central Office. I went to call TekSavvy about changing my address and line and they told me it will be done in 5 days periods. On the 4th day, I plug my modem and the ADSL is connected already. That was faster than I expected. Bravo!
Now I am capped by default to 3008/800 Profile, I think this is the standard to ensure customer is getting stable connection before raise their profile. I never knew we could raise profile until I actually go deeply reading on DSLReports.com website. Thanks for the great website!
I've requested help and emailed to TekSavvy for Line Stats. They replied and knew I was asking for profile raise. They told me it will be done in a few days (3-5 days periods). 5 hours later from the email replies. I got a call from Bell asking me if I am having trouble with the connection and I was told by TekSavvy to tell them only raise the profile. Which they did under 5 minutes. That's not even half day to get this profile raised. WOW....
I am amazed about TekSavvy is doing a great job! Also lately, I am glad TekSavvy is on a different routing from Bell and any other company. I never likes Bell Routing and their service pricing.
I recommended TekSavvy. Been switching from 3-4 different companies.
P.S. $36/monthly is included tax and etc.
**Update** They have upgrade premium from 100gb to 200gb bandwidth. Very happy with that.
**Update June 26, 2008** Still top notch 100% speed in test speed and up time been on for over 2 month if without resetting. I don't count power outage a few weeks ago by a violent storm.
**Update August 09, 2009** Still one of the great ISP Customer Service + Connection out there..
