:: History ::
June 2018 (VDSL2 Toronto)
Back with VDSL2: 50/10, however, it is still too early to make a review on the connection. Download is getting 50/51mbps, upload is getting 7.5-8Mbps (I am not sure if this is because DSL overhead which consider normal) and latency around 7ms. I heard customer services gone downhill; subscribing up the service was quick, however, technical support I have no comment. TekSavvy DNS, I am waiting to see how it goes unless I have to drop in 1.1.1.1 (CloudFlare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) or OpenDNS.

+ Update: Thanks to the TSI staff, I didn't even know I was put on 50/8 profile. I thought my line is crap (I really did thought; it is what it is. ) I'm back 50/10 on speed test. Very happy.

August 2012 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Connection is great but sometime the DNS server is downed. It is kind of frequent lately that I end up using OpenDNS or GoogleDNS to fix the problem.

October 2011 (ADSL2 Montreal)
I am getting frustrated. I'm going to down rate this.
In the past 3 months, the connection has been slowing down night by night with high latencies. This is apparently on TekSavvy side which I think they oversold the services.

July 2011 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Can't believe is already half way 2011! Teksavvy is still rocking!

January 2011 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Happy New Year! Kinda worry about UBB =(

November 2010 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Rock and Roll!

August 2010 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Rock and solid, just a few outage a month ago.

March 2010 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Keep it up!

August 2009 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Still one of the great ISP Customer Service + Connection out there.

June 2008 (ADSL2 Montreal)
Still top notch 100% speed test and up time been on for over 2 month in record. I don't count power outage a few weeks ago by a violent storm.

June 2008 (ADSL2 Montreal)
They upgraded premium from 100gb to 200gb bandwidth. I'm very happy with that.

Review Update

Hello djr,

Thank you for updating your review.

Based on the speeds you mentioned it sounds like the tech might have put you on the 50/8 profile. If you'd like to post in »/forum ··· avdirect we can take a look.

Regards,

Joseph
