I ordered the 6mbps "premium" package. Modem sent through the mail (although you can use your own modem if you already have one). Setup was quick and easy.
Smooth running ever since, speed and pings has always been consistent so far. TekSavvy unlike many other ISPs does not throttle traffic and does not block ports, aside from 25 outbound but this can be unblocked by ordering a static IP for an extra 4$. As much as they didn't want to block it, sadly it is the most effective means of preventing bot-infected computers from sending out spam, which may end up in the IP ranges being blacklisted, so all things considered it's for everyone's good.
If you want to run a server, don't hesitate: their terms of service unlike other ISPs allows you to run servers. Bandwidth cap at the moment is 100GB but that is supposed to be upped to 200GB by Jan 2008.
Last but not least, the customer support, which is in fact absolutely amazing. Every time I gave them a phone call I got an answer within 30 seconds. They know what they are talking about too and are very friendly and always willing to help.
I would definitely recommend this service provider to anyone wanting a DSL connection, where it's available.
