Well when I called TekSavvy I was told my Line was good for 3 Megs. In 5 days I was live and using my ST 516 modem I could see I was far away from CO 63.5 db and low SNR of 6.0 and very slow speeds below Lite at 230K. So I called Teksavvy and they put in a Ticket with Bell and all Bell did was lower my profile but problem still there. Contacted Teksavvy again and I was told this may be as fast as I can get. I checked with Bell Sympatico and they also said my line was qualified for 3 Megs so something was wrong. I got frustrated and phoned Teksavvy to request full refund and cancel as I felt I was not getting what I bought. I was a bit surprised when I was told the 1st month was non refundable but Teksavvy looked at my situation and understood. I was switched to Steve (Tech Support) manager and had constructive discussion with him and he felt I should also get close to 3 megs and asked if I was willing to see through this for a week or full refund and I agreed. Steve immediately elevated the Ticket and Bell responded and said Line was too long and would send out a tech. Tech was supposed to show Thurs but I got a call saying they were behind and showed Friday. I came home and a note said Bad Line replaced by temp line. I noticed at NID the Line was cut from ground and they jumpered mine to neighbours and note said to be replaced my May 2008. Well now Line is still 63.5 db (same distance as expected) SNR is around 7-12 and speed is around 2.2 Megs and 440 Up. Good enough. Its funny I was almost going to write a bad review when Teksavvy sold me 3M and than they said .5 may be as fast as it gets. Thanks to Steve and all his support team getting this one through. great job ! I think I must of sent them 38 e-mails and they always responded quickly. Keep up the great work and being customer oriented.
