    My Other Reviews·Videotron
Compare to Vidéotron, the latency is the same. I have the same amount of servers under 100ms in CS:S(about 1500 servers).

I'm near the Central and I get 4Mbit and 665kbps up. The service advertise up to 5Mbit.
Maybe I could get a better speed with a better modem.

The cap is 200gig each month. This is awesome and more than reasonable.

If I had a bell telephone line, the cost would be 10$ less.

The first month cost : 20$(installation) + 40$(service). It is the price they advertise.

    Definitely Sa77y!

    your speed

Your speed is correct, a 5 meg sync will give you those kinds of speed due to PPPOE overhead.

I see like 50ppl on the test list with 5Mbit speed, how they get it?

I bet it's the modem, I'll get a good 2wire soon with a much better router too.

The 5.1Mbps results you see are from those on a 6Mbps profile, the difference also being attributable to PPPoE overhead. Teksavvy can't promise 6Mbps (5.1 real world) connections because Bell is (for now) not required to provide them. Those who have 6Mbps connections are just plain lucky.

Lucky as sitting at 200 meters of the CO?
I'm at about 1KM of the CO, maybe less. Maybe my information was not good and I'm not at 1KM at all.
