    My Other Reviews·Bell Sympatico
    Synapsis:
so far no downtime in 6 months, was not shaped 1st two months, good sign up deal , cheaper then bell/rogers,tech support in canada
innovative thinking and services ( MLPPP - allows up to three lines for 15 megabit down and 240-300Kbyte upspeed )
this is how the isps should be!

    More in depth Details:
Note the days from order to success was because bell had me on a deactivation that took 5 days before TSI could reactivate me.

They told me that every person that i get signed up gets me 1$/month
and people that i get signed up should inquire as well, a few of us bigger signer uppers should join together ( idea for a reseller of the reseller? )

The MLPPP is a prime example of TSI forward thinking of users, that would allow 3 phone lines to become combined for the fastest unthrottled home internet in canada.
15 megabit down and 2.4megabit up.
I have had my service on non stop and have had NO downtime so stability is perfect!
I was traffic shaped one of those days and that was right on 1st day ( Probably bell canada mucking with me?)
Tech support is extremely friendly and understanding , they are easy to understand and informative. Fact they are adding phone service in my area will mean that from bell to TSI
i will go from 55 for internet (TSI - 34)
i will go from 25 for phone (TSI -20)
    75-54= 21$ a month savings. Or 252$ a year
    for the 200GB capped account.

For a few dollars more i could goto the unlimited but im good as is.
Another nice feature is a carry over form month to month for your cap limit.
Example month one i use 120GB , next month i get to have 280GB
In other words Rocky ( TSI owner ) gives me what i pay for.
I am so pleased i told them they can keep the 1$/month.

The fact i can run services by my home net as a rule also allows me to get back into developing and playing around with code ( i have a online php game im developing and its nice to locally test stuff without an isp scanning me or causing me trouble)
it also allows me to provide and build into a potential business for many ideas i have.

The additions of multiple static ips is also something i may look into, this would allow me to potentially start into a minor hosting business or setup others in my house(the MLPPP could be used ina small building to offer many accounts at a fair price).

The fact that TSI immediately stood up for user rights when bell traffic shaped third party isps also shows there dedication to give there CUSTOMERS ( NOT CONSUMERS) what they want. There is actually a differance between a customer and consumer.

Speed averages 620Kbytes down and 85Kbytes up
which i will add is 100Kbytes more then i ever got with bell down and 2-3 Kbytes better upspeed.

    Numerical Rankings

You might want to add some numerical rankings so your review counts towards the total rating of TekSavvy.

    Re: Numerical Rankings

might need to get into it thought it was a more simple process
so where do i add that ( i have had net accounts for 25 some odd years and this isp is hte best in last ten years for treatment of users and innovation considering they really aren't that large.

so how would i add numerica stuff i might go thorugh and do a lot of these things
for instance its a federal crime in canada to scan anyone and has been for YEARS yet rogers scanned me once after i had developed a custom firewall program and forgot to turn it off
660 times in a 6 hr period and when they could not get through after that they canceled my service ROFL. That was 7 years ago and the last time i used cable.
