First speedtest after connecting today, and the speeds look good. So a little breakdown.
Pre-Sales information was not great, as the website itself wasn't really very informative. However, this was not a problem as two calls to TekSavvy (each lasting no more than 2 minutes with waiting) cleared everything up. Order was placed, and tentative date set.
I cannot review install coordination, as I didn't need any. I have a ST516v6 and WRT54GS which I managed to set up (as a switch from Sympatico to TekSavvy) in about 20 seconds. Connection reliability I'll review later. (I'm giving these 5/5 as I have no problems with giving them the perfect mark. Connection I can reduce if it turns out unstable)
Tech support is by far the strongest point of TekSavvy. The waiting time on phone was no longer than 15 to 20 seconds each time I called, and each time a person who actually knew what they were talking about answered. They even called me during the order confirmation process. Talk about going the extra mile.
I like the services, and the value for money is sky high. $30 for 5 meg with no contract is good enough, but 200 gb bandwidth (more than I ever need a month) with low overage charges make the deal extra-sweet.
By the way, did I mention the activation date was tomorrow, but I'm connected today? Awesome. TekSavvy so far has left a very pleasing impression, and I hope this will stay like this - I really do like this company.
