After spending weeks dealing with problem after problem with Primus (the absolutely worst company I've ever dealt with, by the way - stay far, far away!), I smartened up, canceled my non-existent "service" with Primus and placed an order over the phone with Teksavvy.
For the most part, I'm happy with Teksavvy except there were a lot of issues with the installation and communication regarding those issues was lacking. Problems with the phone line were fixed reasonably promptly. I was told the DSL would be active a few days after the phone line was activated. It took 9 days in the end. At one point after calling in during this period to see what was taking so long with the DSL, I was repeatedly assured there was no problem with the DSL order and promised it would definitely be working two days later. Three days later, still no DSL. I had to take a day off work in the end to wait for the Bell technician that never even needed me to be there. I understand Teksavvy depends on Bell for the lines and installation, but I don't appreciate the communication issues and empty promises.
But now that everything's up and running, the service is solid. No problems with the home phone service and the DSL is as expected. The Java speed test to the server in New York gives 4016/610 so it's in the ball park of the advertised 5000/800 connection.
