    My Other Reviews·Videotron
I ordered teksavvy around april 10th, my line got activated around 14- 16th. I first used the service on the 24th. So it's now been one month and I come to review

Ordering went smoothly, I was a little scared about payments, I generally use a debit card, but but registering I used my french credit card (to make things faster). Second billed was charged on the debit card, so everything is fine, thank you Linda!

As I said earlier, my line was activated on the 16th. I received my modem (note: off ebay) on the 20th. It took quite some time to set it up physically, as it is a dry loop, and wires are going to my apt are really old, not even colored. I didn't know how to process at all. I'm good with setting things logically, but a complete noob when it comes to phone lines, etc.

I really want to thank teksavvy for that matter. I received a mail saying it's been a week since activation day and no traffic detected on my line, with an invite to call tech support. Which I did. Larry (I think that's him) explained me how to do the wiring job, and 2 days later, I was all set.

I'm on fastpath, 2.2Mbps sync, quite stable (lostsync around once a week). I can't get a better profile because of internal wiring (wire that goes to my apt) and I don't plan to fix that since I'll be moving to the apt next door in july. I'll do the mods there :P Anyway, I have no real need to get better than this speed. I'm on fast path, pings are excellent. I do download via torrents, but I don't care if I get files in 2 hours instead of 1. For the same reason, throttle doesn't bother me. Attention, I didn't say that I approve it, imho it's unethical, etc...
