Upgraded to 25/10 recently and everything went smoothly--- No missing technicians that skipped out or anything. The only complaint is the time it took to get the initial order down. I filled out the form on my portal to request the upgrade in speed and their system said it would take up to 48 hours to get a response, but it took closer to 5 days. I didn't mind too much and can certainly understand the backlog of work they had on their hands at the time. But, it would have been nice if they reworded that message to something like "typically 48 hours, but can take longer... etc etc". I was concerned about not being contacted in the timeframe they specified, so I posted in the Direct forum here and they informed me of the situation and also answered other questions I had. This is actually the second time I've upgraded though. I also upgraded to 15/1 a while back and there was also no problems with any technicians skipping out on me. In fact, since I knew that the technician was doing the same thing this time as last time (installing a POTS splitter), I informed the technician that I already had one, but he insisted on coming in just to have a look anyway. He did a quick inspection and was on his way after I signed a form. Old review: ----------- When I was with Bell, they told me there was nothing the several people I talked to from India told me there was nothing they could do about my speed. When I switched over to TekSavvy, I made one post in the Direct forum and they bumped my speed up. It wasn't a really big speed change because I'm over 4km away from the CO but they did something about it. Their tech support and customer service are really amazing. There is hardly ever a wait time and the people actually help you instead of telling you to reset your modem and clear your cache.
