Update: DSL connection has come into some severe congestion during afternoon into evening hours, I am told it is on Bell's end and there is no ETA on any fix, so looks like I will be changing my ISP again until their cable service reaches Sarnia.
I made the switch to Teksavvy from Cogeco because of heavy congestion and no fix after 9 months. I was pretty new to DSL services so I asked a lot of questions and the TSI staff was very helpful in answering the questions and giving me the information I asked for. I ended up ordering the service and 9 days later my service was up and running smoothly, surprisingly no problems or issues arose.. kinda odd for me as it seems every company I deal with something always comes up and I have to deal with it.
I really like that their tech support is all Canadian and know what they are doing, being able to speak to someone without an Indian accent really helps with the not having to repeat myself or their self. So far the few times I have had to call in the issue was resolved quickly, with the cable expansion their wait times have increased which can be a hassle but from what I hear they are expanding their customer support to deal with it which is excellent to hear.
I am happy with a solid 5mb service but it always could be faster but the cap definitely helps me get over any speed issues, I am currently waiting on Teksavvy to roll out cable via Cogeco in my area.. hopefully by then the congestion in my area will be fixed or at least Teksavvy can whip Cogeco into fixing it much faster.
