Well I ordered the 15/2 with 5 static IP's for my home so I can run my web & mail servers. Eight days later I came home from work at 12:30PM to find a fiber cable ran from the pole to the corner of my house down the wall laying next to the old copper NID. Verizon arrived at 1:00PM on the dot and told me that they were there earlier (Obviously  ) but said it was an afternoon visit, so they went to lunch.
They asked where the computer was, I told them they didn't need to worry about the home run, they said great then I told them to just drop the Cat5 from the ONT into the basement and I will take care of the rest.
They went right to work, I provided them with a cooler of cold water and a super fan in the basement to try and keep them cool. They attached the ONT on the outside of the house right next to the NID then installed the BBU inside the basement about 5 feet inside from the ONT.
Then they ran the needed wires through existing holes in the wall and everything was up a running.
They then setup the Actiontec rounter on the line and initially had some major issues with it, they had never had to do a static IP connection yet, so they had to call tech support. Eventually they got everything worked out and everything was up a running. They were in my house for a total of 4 hours and I have no complaints, they were extremely polite, clean and did not damage anything.
All in all this was the cleanest, quickest, nicest broadband install I have ever had. My service is up an running and I already canceled my DSL because of how smooth things went. If you were to ask me about the service I could not give you and reason NOT to get FiOS.
