My friends have Adelphia HSI, and the latency and drop out are somewhat irritating. I've gotten spoiled. It's a seamless thing... biggest slowdown on my network is getting the wireless connection when I start up the laptop.
So far, no complaints. In a sense, my flip "more bandwidth than I need" remark isn't "too" far from true. I remark a lot, in the fora, about not wanting a huge pipeline, so much, as wanting a high quality of service. FTTP/FIOS delivers on that.
Pioneer Avenue CO always delivered, by the way, superb DSL and POTS service. FIOS has been superb, too... installation was competent, on-time and very well-done.
