Got FiOS installed and I really don't regret ditching Time Warner. The installer was friendly and professional, did very good work. The installation wasn't easy by any means, and he did a great job at it. Got it up and running with no problems, and the router installed where I wanted it. Wireless seems to be flaky, but I have my WRT54GS for that. Couldn't be happier for the switch, and it's my first DVR! (Yeah, I know, I'm slow.)
Update: My router was fried last month by a lightning strike on the local COAX lines and I was without internet for a weekend. They came and swapped my modem that Monday, but the modem was flaky at first. Installer stayed until it was up and running again. Still had some issues for a couple of days, but they cleared up on their own.
I got myself a Logitech Harmony remote, and now I have 30 second skip.  The TV is great, though the DVR occasionally messes up a recording. It's locked up once or twice, but usually after a storm with power loss. I wish it had NASA TV, but I guess you can't have everything.
