I ordered the service on a Tuesday morning and it was installed 8 days later. I called the Business Office and spoke with a super lady, Ms. Good in their WVA call center - a super nice lady. I am a retired Bell Atlantic manager and she found that I could get the 15/2 for the same price as the 10/2 offering - a major "no-brainer" if there ever was one! I had read in this forum that the Action Tech router was not noted for the excellence of its wireless coverage and I wanted the router installed on the opposite side of the house from the ONT. This is where I use the wireless laptop and this arrangement also prepares the way for an easy installation of FIOS TV in the future should I decide to get it. The installer was just a great guy and had no problem with my request. He installed the 612 ONT w/MoCA and CAT5e back to the desktop computer. I had prepared a good location for the inside equipment and had already arranged for AC to the BBU and to the router, so the install went pretty well. My speeds are 15.5 down and 1.85 up - measured to Speakeasy in Washington, DC. This is one huge improvement over my old Earthlink DSL speeds of 600-700k! BTW, the family was able to keep their old Earthlink email addresses via the Earthlink Experience offering and thanks to Verizon's FIOS, everyone is a happy camper!
The bottom line: Get this puppy if you possibly can!
