    My Other Reviews·Verizon VoiceWing
Since i knew what i wanted the order process was a snap. 20/5 data only because i found a promotion and got sunrocket for $99 for one year. The install was a cinch for the tech since i had run the coax for the moca in advance and the distance from the ont to the bbu and ps was all of six feet or so. Kinda disappointed that they're using the motorola ont in this area, i think the tellabs has a much cleaner look and is much less likely to be a cozy retreat for bees and wasps. Gave the tech support a 3 because i haven't had to deal with them and can't say anything bad or good. As to value I'm cheap so i'm always interested in getting more for less. FiOS seems better than Optonline thus far especially when it comes to downloading big files and p2p shows upload speeds of 670kbs plus. I really like the idea of 32 people per pon using OC12 (622Mbs) for downloading and OC3 (155Mbs) for uploading versus 250 to 500 cablemodems sharing 15/2. And as if that weren't enough there's more with gpon coming soon with 2.4gbs/1.2gbs per 32 customers woo hoo. Now it they could only get a statewide video franchise for new york we'd be set. My town is not likely to get video any other way due to the fact that most of the town is covered by a different telco (Frontier). Too bad since it looks like there won't be a statewide here with the municipalities and verizon themselves fighting against it.
